About the journal
The journal Linguistische Treffen in Wrocław was established to provide an insight into various areas of contemporary linguistics, especially those associated with the German language. Papers published within such a thematic framework thus constitute an important platform for exchanging scholarly opinions and indicate directions for the development of the discipline. A broad range of topics, research methods and perspectives, and, above all, confrontative research conducted as part of interdisciplinary German studies make it possible to document developmental tendencies in contemporary linguistics in successive issues of the journal. Each volume in contains papers in German, Polish and English.
In 2019 the Linguistische Treffen in Wrocław journal was on the list of projects eligible to receive funding within the Support for scientific journals program. The list was announced by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (announcement of 27/03/2019).
